BioTrace Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BioTrace, including the BioTrace mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). "BioTrace" may also appear as "BioTrace: Longevity Tracker." By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Educational Use Only; No Medical Advice

BioTrace is for educational and informational use only. BioTrace does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention recommendations, and is not an emergency service. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

2. Not a Medical Device

BioTrace is not intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent disease and is not a regulated medical device. You remain responsible for consulting a licensed healthcare professional for medical decisions.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where required by local law) to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining account security, and all activity under your account.

4. Data Inputs and User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of your data entries, imported lab values, wearable connections, and any actions you take based on Service content. Trends, scores, and insights are directional educational tools and may be incomplete or incorrect.

5. Subscription, Billing, and RevenueCat

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed by the platform where you subscribed (for example, Apple App Store) and are subject to that platform's terms. We may use RevenueCat to process and validate subscription status.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by interfering with operation, attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering, introducing malicious code, or using the Service in violation of applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, content, branding, and design, is owned by BioTrace and protected by applicable law. Except for limited rights to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioTrace and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post an updated version with a revised date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BioTrace is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. You are responsible for complying with laws applicable to your use of the Service.
